We have recently purchased a home and used Gavin Lendich (Mortgage Planners) as our Mortgage broker. This was a very quick and complicated purchase, involving two properties, with a short time frame between deciding on purchase and the auction, the negotiating and then consequently a very quick settlement date. We are not the most organised of couples so we approached Gavin to review our situation to see if this purchase was even going to be plausible.
We were highly impressed with Gavin’s ability to move quickly and educate us on what needed to be done. He was efficient, understanding, extremely knowledgeable and very patient with our many and varied questions. Gavin calmly moved through the issues giving us guidance on each step. The whole process was logically presented and Gavin was available at any time for clarification or assurance.
We had issues with our bank being prepared to approve our mortgage requests (as we already had a mortgage on an apartment with this bank), so Gavin approached another bank and secured an outstanding deal. Our second mortgage was approved, and as a bonus, included a $2000 credit to apply to our legal costs and a big screen TV with a sound bar system. This was all secured with extreme time constraints.
Gavin was highly professional, confidential and comprehensive in his approach and gave us advice on the many stages of purchasing a new home. He was current on all package deals and proceedures, understood our stresses and assured us along the way. I would highly recommend Gavin Lendich to any of my friends, family or colleagues.
